Monday was a day for rest and realization. A beautiful day for some pool activities. We also decided to take in some of the adventures that the resort had. A slide ride, and also a roller coaster. This is also the week that Jaxon fell in love with baseball. Know every day we have to go out and play ball, and hit home runs.Tuesday was our adventure day and we headed into Boston. We had tickets for the Red Sox's game that night, so we headed in for the day to go to Cheers as well as kind of tour the city. What a beautiful city. The architecture is absolutely amazing. It would be a wonderful city to live in. It just so happened that the Red Sox were play the Blue Jays the night as well, so it made for a very interesting game.
Wednesday and Thursday were spend lazing around on our last few days of holidays. We swam, we rested, and we did some more swimming. We sent back to the roller coaster and slides, and just took it all in.Friday it was time to get back into the car and head home. The boarder crossing was not quite as bad this time around. We had decided that we were going to spend the night in Niagara Falls and go to Marineland on the Saturday to finish up our holiday. Friday night we got to our hotel room, and headed down to take in some of the sights of Niagara. We went to the Hershey's Chocolate Factory for some chocolate covered strawberries, went to see the falls, had some dinner and then went back to the falls for the fireworks. Jaxon LOVED it. He told me his favourite was the green, because that is his favourite color. We got up in the morning and headed out to Marineland. We were at the end of our holidays, and it was a freaking hot day, and really all any of us wanted to do was to turn around and go home, but we we don't do for our kids. We toughed it out, and spend a about 5 hours at the party taking in all it had. On our way out around 2:30 we hit up the souvenir shop for a memento and headed home. We stopped for some dinner on the way home, and finally hit home sweet home around 6:30.
Holidays are always wonderful to go on, but it is always nice to come home too.
